It's day 5 of the septoplasty and tonsilectomy surgery...I'm waking up about every two to three hours with a dry throat that feels like I've taken a cheese grater to it. My nose, which had the far more extensive work, doesn't hurt at all. The first four days, my nose would bleed every time I got up and moved around-now it doesn't bleed at all. I'm rinsing it twice a day to make sure it stays clear of dried blood.
I was planning to go back to work on Wednesday...I don't think that's going to happen-the pain is far too intense right now.
