I've been trying to find a new desk for about...oh, I don't know...three months. The one I currently use is from IKEA and is too small. I've had to augment it with the use of two additional IKEA pieces but the 'flow' is screwing with my chi. I'm pretty sure it's keeping me from being as organized as I could be...and have been in the past.
All told, I've spent at least 15 hours on the net, in stores and flipping through a random catalog or two in search of a desk that will work for me. Without paying $1k for it. Those two don't seem to intersect. The desk is either $1500 and exactly what I want or it's $600 and 'close', but not close enough.
