My current laptop, a Toshiba, is running Windows Vista. I never really had a lot of the problems that people complained about when it was initially released (the laptop is from the same era) but it's become quite the pain the ass lately. It literally requires daily updates from Microsoft. The computer is over 5 years old at this point. I've had to pull the motherboard once and the power adapter is broken inside the case. There's a connector inside that's broken off of the motherboard but it still works. I'll probably hang on to the computer until I can't charge it any longer.
The Olympics in Sochi are going on and I'm having a tough time being interested in it. I watched part of the opening ceremonies and didn't find it all that interesting. Maybe I watched the wrong part.
