The Golden Globes

I'll have to start by saying that I didn't watch them...and for the first time in my life-I wish I had.

Ricky Gervais made what is typically a narcissistic Hollywood self pat on the back a bit more watchable.  I've spent more time watching the video clips than it would have taken to watch the original show.  I can't get through the clips without laughing.  If more award shows were more candid, they'd be more watchable for those of us under the age of 70.

He put quite a few people in their place through comedy...it's good for them to realize that they're just people like the rest of us.

Truly hilarious...
