The early bird gets the worm but the second mouse gets the cheese.

Things that make sense to me don't always make sense to other people.  I used to find it a source of great aggravation-I used to let it really get me upset.  "How can they be SO stupid?!"  Now, I just laugh at them.  It's easier, takes less effort and allows me to enjoy my moment of superiority the way it should have always been.

This has nothing to do with my day (or the weekend, for that matter) but it's been a little chip on my shoulder for a couple of weeks.

I'm in project completion mode the last few days.  I've managed to get a lot done - and managed to not add anything to my growing list of things to do.  Progress is being made and it feels pretty fucking good.

The job search is slow, frustrating and semi-fruitless right now...but something is bound to come up.

Sometimes, it's good to be the early bird and sometimes, it's just better to be the second mouse.  There's a happy medium in there somewhere-I just have to find it.
